About the Role
War Zone Music is looking for an experienced Artist Manager to join our team.
As the Artist Manager, you will be responsible for the management, promotion, and career of our label’s roster of artists. You will be the main point of contact between our artists and the label and will be tasked with developing and executing promotional strategies that will help our artists reach their full potential within the music industry.
You will be responsible for keeping track of our artists’ career progress, developing marketing plans, organizing promotional campaigns, managing tour schedules, and liaising with music industry professionals. You will also be expected to stay on top of the latest industry trends and ensure that our artists stay relevant and successful.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and creative individual who demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills. If you have a passion for music, a flair for marketing, and a commitment to developing the careers of our artists, then this is the job for you!
Requirements
(Not required but increases hire likeliness) Bachelor's Degree in Music Business, Music Management, or related fields
5+ years of experience in artist management, music industry, or related fields
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with artists and industry professionals
Knowledge of the music industry landscape and current trends
Ability to negotiate deals and contracts on behalf of the label and its artists
Proficiency in music software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, etc.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies
Experience in budgeting and financial management
Working knowledge of copyright laws and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software applications
Ability to travel to artist events and media appearances as needed
