About the Role
War Zone Music is looking for an experienced Chief Officer of Operations to lead our team of professionals in creating and delivering exceptional music experiences for our artists and fans. As Chief Officer of Operations, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for our operations, driving efficiencies, and ensuring that our processes and procedures are streamlined and effective. You will be leading the operations team to ensure that we are consistently delivering the best results for our artists, fans, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a proven track record of success in a leadership role, as well as a deep understanding of the music industry. You should be able to develop and implement effective strategies and processes to ensure that our operations are running efficiently and cost-effectively. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and inspire our team. You should be a creative problem-solver and have experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions. Requirements
(Not Required but increases hire likeliness) Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
(Not Required but Increases hire likeliness) Minimum of 5 years of operations management experience in the music industry.
Proven track record in developing and executing operational plans.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a successful operations team.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of the music industry, music technology, streaming services, and music rights.
Working knowledge of financial and budgeting processes.
Highly skilled in project management and process improvement.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop solutions for challenging problems.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an ability to influence and negotiate.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
